Counseling Session 1:
Before Filing Bankruptcy
Before filing for bankruptcy, individuals are required to complete a pre-filing bankruptcy counseling session with a certified credit counselor. DebtWave Credit Counseling, Inc. is an Executive Office for the United States Trustee (EOUST) approved agency with over 18 years of experience educating consumers and clients about money and credit.
During your one-hour pre-filing bankruptcy counseling session with DebtWave, our certified bankruptcy counselors will conduct an analysis of your financial situation, explore options available to you, and develop an individualized action plan. Our goal is to provide individuals and/or families with knowledge and tools for future management of personal finances.
Counseling Session 2:
After Filing Bankruptcy
After filing for bankruptcy, and before your debts can be discharged, individuals must receive post-filing bankruptcy counseling with a certified credit counselor. DebtWave Credit Counseling, Inc. is an Executive Office for the United States Trustee (EOUST) approved agency.
In this session, your bankruptcy counselor will review with you the factors that caused your current financial conditions and also create a personalized plan to make healthier financial choices in the future. Our goal is to provide individuals and/or families with knowledge and tools for future management of personal finances.
