Credit Counseling for Texas Residents

Thanks to a lower-than-average cost of living and business-friendly tax laws, the Texas economy has grown to become the second biggest in the U.S. - just behind California.

While 102 of the 1,000 largest public and private companies in the U.S. are headquartered in Texas, the average household income in Texas is also below the national average.

Natural disasters have also hit certain parts of the state quite severely in recent years.

As a result, many Texans were forced to lean on credit cards to make ends meet.

The average Texas household owes about $7,692 in credit card debt.

Analysts attribute the increased spending as a sign consumers were feeling optimistic about the economy and were taking on additional debt without necessarily preparing for a financial emergency.

Texas residents interested in either a free credit counseling session and/or enrolling in our debt management program can connect with one of our certified credit counselors by calling us directly at 888-686-4040.
